Throughout the length and breadth of the Iberian Peninsula, you can find the king of our Mediterranean mountain: the European red deer. Although smaller in size than the deer of the rest of Europe, hunting them is an amazing experience. The hunting season runs from September to February, since from April to August the stag has lost its horns and replaces them with the following year’s larger ones.

From mid-September to early October, the forests rumble with the bellowing of the deer. It is the rutting season when you can enjoy the most intense hunting of this beautiful animal.
