In the exclusive region of southeastern Spain, from the imposing peaks of the Sierra Nevada (3,400 m altitude) to the arid coasts of Almeria, lives another of the protagonists of our fauna, the hardy Southeastern Ibex.
The Southeastern Ibex, a male mountain goat with long horns and a pronounced backward curvature, its smaller and lighter body is perfectly adapted to the terrain it inhabits, where few species are able to survive.
It is precisely this species’ natural habitat that will provide you with an unforgettable hunting experience. Due to the little vegetation and the spectacular slopes, you will have to make really far shots, many times more than 500 meters (550 yards) that will test your shooting skills.
Due to the warmer hunting area, the hunting season extends from October to April, being the mating time of the southeastern Ibex earlier than their “northern relatives”, late October and early November will allow you to see that big Ibex you want to hunt with us.
